COVID-19 put a hold on my next project in Panama, so I decided to use the spare time to do some of my back burner things! I'm spending a couple of months at the MPI for Ornithology in Seewiesen, hosted by Holger Goerlitz' Acoustic & Functional Ecology lab. Together with Eva Mardus and Thejasvi Beleyur, I'm comparing flight and echolocation behaviour in hearing-impaired and normal-hearing bats. So far we've been impressed! Stay tuned for the results :)
